Contract Conclusion
If you submit an order for goods via this site by clicking 'Submit Payment', your order is an offer to us to buy the good on our website.
We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
We will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending you an automatically generated e-mail accepting your order. With this email the contract will be concluded.
The contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to in our email confirming our acceptance of your order. You should read and check the details in this email to ensure that they are correct.
If the details in the email confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details in the email, please contact us.
The contractual language is English.
We store the contracts content and will send you details of your order via email, our general terms can be found at the bottom of our homepage. The details of your recent orders can be found in your customer login.
Availability and Delivery
All orders are taken subject to availability. We cannot guarantee permanent or continuous availability of all products on this site. In the event of one wine being out of stock the customer may be offered a similar wine or one of a better quality at no extra charge.
We deliver to mainland United Kingdom only. With extra delivery costs to postcodes starting with IV & KW (Northern Scotland). Vintages will change through the year and there is no obligation to give notice of any future change.
Price and Ownership of Goods
We shall use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the prices quoted on our site are correct. Information displayed on the site relating to pricing is subject to change by us without notice, but those on the site at the time of any order placed will be the prices applicable to that order.
The Goods are property of the customer as from delivery.
Payment
Payment for goods can be made by either;
a) Credit card
b) Debit card
These payments are made through Shawbury Vintners by Shopify.
Breakage
Claims for breakage and/or short delivery can only be entertained if signed for at time of delivery and notified in writing using our Contact Form or by post to Shawbury Wine Ltd, The Shawburies, Shawbury Lane, Shawbury, Coleshill, B46 2RT or by e-mail to orders@shawbury.wine within 7 working days.
Cancellation Policy
Web Orders
a) You may cancel your order for any reason at any time up to 7 working days from the day after the date of delivery, provided all of the bottles are unopened and intact.
b) In order to cancel your order you must notify us in writing by using our Contact Form or email on orders@shawburywine.com or by post to Shawbury Wine Ltd, The Shawburies, Shawbury Lane, Shawbury, Coleshill, B46 2RT.
c) We shall refund the price of the wine as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your return. It is your responsibility to store the wine and take reasonable care of it until we arrange collection of the wine. Any delivery and/or collection costs we have incurred will be deducted from any refund due.
Exhibition/Show Orders
a) Exhibition orders are taken face to face and after you have tasted our products.
b) In order to cancel your order you must notify us in writing using our Contact Form or by email on orders@shawbury.wine or by post to Shawbury Wine Ltd, The Shawburies, Shawbury Lane, Shawbury, Coleshill, B46 2RT.
c) We shall refund the price of the wine as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your return. If you have taken delivery of your wine then it is your responsibility to store the wine and take reasonable care of it until we arrange collection of the wine. Any delivery and/or collection costs we have incurred will be deducted from any refund due.
Cancellation By Us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if;
a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
b) we do not deliver to your area;
c) we refuse to fulfil an order;
If we do cancel the contract we will notify you by email and we will re-credit your account any sum deducted by us from your credit or debit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.
